L’ATELIER! MAGAZINE : The magazine for an introduction to crafts
Discover craftsmanship while having fun
L’ATELIER! MAGAZINE introduces children from 7 to 12 years old to crafts and handicraft, through play and practice. Each issue highlights a craftsman’s profession and allows the child to learn at home thanks to the equipment provided. This magazine raises awareness among the youngest of little-known handicraft, awakens their view of everyday life and can give rise to lasting passions.
Inside each issue of L’ATELIER! MAGAZINE
Each issue contains 52 pages combining reading and practical activities:
- DIY and making kit: create concrete objects with your hands.
- Comics and photo-novels: captivating stories that stimulate imagination and curiosity.
- Games and quizzes: fun activities to develop creativity and reflection.
- Exploration booklet: information, anecdotes and activities to deepen the handicraft.
- Collectible Character Cards: Complete the reading and creation experience.
Each trimester, children discover a specific craft and experiment with a practical project adapted to the home. An annual special issue explores the craftsmanship of another country, such as Italy this year, to enrich culture and open-mindedness.
For curious and creative children
L’ATELIER! MAGAZINE is aimed at children aged 7 to 12, from primary to early secondary school (Year 3 to Year 7 in the UK / 2nd to 6th grade in the US), curious to create and discover handicraft. It also appeals to parents and grandparents who want to offer educational, practical and fun activities, while reducing screen time. Each issue offers a moment of reading and creation to share with the family.
