One of the world's leading reviews of anthropological sciences
Founded in 1890, L’Anthropologie journal has played a leading role in advancing the anthropological sciences (prehistory, anthropology, and ethnography). The publication’s particular focus is the origin of the human species, the progressive physical evolution of the human species, living conditions, labour, and more.
It regularly publishes theses and the results of studies by both French and non-French researchers, summaries, reviews of the most important books and articles, information about anthropological societies, and about upcoming conferences and congresses. Each article is accompanied by an abstract in two languages.
