Who are we? UNI-Presse, expert in French press abroad
For over 75 years, UNI-Presse has been supporting readers, institutions, and enthusiasts of French culture around the world by giving them access to the French press, wherever they are.
Founded in 1948, UNI-Presse is an association dedicated to promoting the French language and culture internationally by facilitating the distribution of French publications in more than 190 countries.
Our history and mission: promoting French press around the world
Originating from the Export Department of the Union Syndicale de la Presse Périodique (Union of Periodical Press) created in 1946, the UNI-Presse association was born out of a strong desire to enable French speakers and Francophiles around the world to stay connected to French news, culture, and thought.
UNI-Presse acts as a link between French publishers and millions of French speakers and Francophiles around the world. We offer simple, reliable, and sustainable access to the French press and support each of our customers with a local service tailored to local realities.

This international presence allows us to offer a tailor-made service, adapted to local realities, delivery times, and the specific needs of each country.

Our international activities
Press and Media Week in Schools
Every year, UNI-Presse actively participates in Press and Media Week in Schools, organized to raise awareness among students about information, reading, and critical thinking.
On this occasion, we send copies of French magazines to our media library, documentation center (CDI), and university library customers around the world.
This initiative gives pupils, students, and teachers abroad access to high-quality press, allows them to discover the diversity of French media, and strengthens their connection with the French language and culture.
Presence at Book Fairs
We participate in various book fairs abroad with our own stands. In this way, we help to raise the international profile of French publishers.
