UNI-Presse’s mission is to promote and encourage French Language and culture throughout the world. We are proud to have the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs as our principal partner in our activities. We mostly work through the network of cultural and educational institutes outside France, recognized by the government: French high schools and other educational institutes, cultural centers, Alliance Français, and research institutes.
The « Institut Français » is a public institution which mission is to promote France’s external cultural action in artistic exchanges (live entertainment, visual arts, architecture etc.), so as the French language, knowledge and ideas.
The BIEF (Bureau International de l’Édition Française) provides an essential service to professionals in book publishing by facilitating publishers’ projects to develop the export, rights sales and acquisitions, and international partnerships. The action is organized around three main goals : a showcaseBureau International de l’Edition Française for French publishing at book fairs throughout the world, scrutiny and analysis of international markets, connecting publishers all over the world through professional exchanges.
The CLEMI (Centre for Liaison between Teaching and Information Media) is part of the French Ministry of Education. It was created in 1983 with the mission of “promoting especially by means of training activities, the multiple use of news media in teaching with the aim of encouraging a better understanding of the world by pupils while simultaneously developing critical understanding.” (Decree of April 1993). To achieve this mission, the Clemi offers training sessions, educational programmes and events, opportunities of exchange and networking, and pedagogical publications.
TV5MONDE, the world’s top French television network, is a space for open and pluralist expression. It is a general interest network, with a wide variety of programming that ranges across films, fiction, documentaries, sport, including its own productions of news and other original and previously unscreened programmes. To strengthen its position as the number two televsion network in the world, it is now using Internet as another way to make its broadcast materials available. The Accueils Français et Francophones can be found in 160 towns and cities in 76 countries. They are staffed by volunteers who share their experience and savoir-faire, and above all their knowledge of the local area. The Accueils are designed for French and French-speaking expatriates. They offer help to new arrivals and their families, providing useful advice and information, as well as proposing various activities and opportunities to discover their new “home”. They serve as centres for spreading and promoting French language and culture.
The UFE(Union des Français à l’Étranger) is an officially recognised public body(Association reconnue d’utilité publique) whose purpose is to maintain the closest possible links between French expatriate citizens and France, and to work for the interests of all French citizens who have resided or who are currently resident outwith France. The UFE has staff or offices in 160 cities throughout the world. Its website (with online subscription) offers a full range of information on living abroad.
French Planète was primarily the idea of uniting all the French people living abroad around the world on a same collaborative platform, on which everybody can participate and share one’s favourite places, events, pictures, and ads. Today this community gathers around 2.5 million members.

MediaEducation.fr is an independent and self-funded multimedia platform, which aim is to educate to media and develop critical understanding, in an active and inclusive way.
This portal lists all players, initiatives and advances in this field. MediaEducation.fr’s main goal is to put through, unite and support actions to educate to media in France. Young people, adults, educators, parents, teachers, we are all responsible for encouraging free and enlightened thought.

UNI-Presse obliges its service providers to respect the applicable laws on information protection and privacy and that our users confidentiality be respected. It is worthy of note that some of our service providers are outside of the European Union.
How long is data stored?
The information that you communicate to us via your user account and order history are stored for up to five years from your last activity (purchase, account login, subscription renewal…). This data will be archived with limited access in order to perform certain legal duties as related, for example, to accounting. Once the legal time limit has passed, your information will be deleted, besides for cases in which certain data will be made anonymous.
Your login information on UNI-Presse’s websites will only be stored for up to thirteen months.
