UNI-Presse took part in the Bangkok Book Fair in late March 2008, thanks to collaboration with the Carnets d'Asie bookshop. We have already been working together in Cambodia for several years, but this was our first joint effort in Thailand. The bookshop recently opened a branch within the Alliance Française in Bangkok, which meant they were able to represent UNI-Presse for the Bangkok Book Fair, which is a major cultural event in Thailand. This was the 36th Book Fair, held in the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. We took this opportunity to formalize our partnership with Mr Olivier Jeandel, the Director of the Carnets d'Asie bookshops. Several other promotional events for French publishing are already planned throughout Thailand for the months ahead.
