During the recent summit of European and Latin American Heads of State at Lima, Peru (13-17 May 2008), the French Embassy in Peru organized Expofrancia, an exhibition involving more than forty French companies who are currently working in Peru.

UNI-Presse took part in this exhibition, thanks to our local representative, the Franco-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. On the UNI-Presse stand we had available more than 300 titles from our catalogue of French newspapers, magazines and reviews. There was considerable interest from Francophile visitors, and very encouraging results.

UNI-Presse has a programme of exhibitions and sales throughout the coming year in the various Peruvian Alliances Françaises, not just in the capital Lima, but also in the other main cities of Trujillo, Arequipa and Cuzco. The schools and universities in Peru which offer French as part of their curriculum will also be approached.
