The reference publication for educational research focused on a particular subject, the thematic articles and abridging notes in every issue allow the reader to keep up with the evolution of ideas, especially from a human and social sciences viewpoint.


Since 1967 this review has been the foremost reference in the French-speaking world on questions of research in education. It takes education in as broad a sense as possible, so has a pluralistic approach.


Usually the articles are grouped thematically, and cover the latest contributions of research into education. Each issue also has a section providing a summary of research into a specific topic. There are also reviews of recent publications.
